One Of My Favorites

I don’t have a ‘best’ anything; no best friend, best food, best movie… yeah yeah you get the drift!

However, I do have favourites, of almost everything, well I think I do. So today I’m going to share with you one of my favourite books ever!!!

First of all, let me say, unfortunately I do not read as much as I used to! And I’m not happy about that! I have almost 30 books unread, some on my phone others actual physical books! I know right, so ancient! Lol

I actually really enjoy reading (when I do), I get so entranced and I do not do anything else for the 24-48 hours it takes me to finish the book. I guess that’s why I don’t read as much anymore because I can’t really dedicate that much time to reading uninterrupted! I need to re-strategize though. I actually really miss reading!

Anyway, if you’ve watched the movie or even read the book, then the header image should ring a loud-ass bell in your head! Lol

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green absolutely has a special place in my heart!

I know it’s a children’s book blah blah… but the story and the writing have no age bracket! I honestly feel it’s a book everyone can relate to! And if you’ve not READ the book, please do! The movie isn’t bad but it doesn’t do the book that much justice!

There are so many beautiful quotes and eye opening statements that pop up in my head from time to time… so I’ll share some of them with you but go read the book for yourself! Most likely you’ll love it and keep reading parts of the book from time to time!

  • “As he read, I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.”
  • “You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world…but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices.”
  • “Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth it is a city of freedom. And in freedom, most people find sin.”

Anyway, read more! Reading is one of the best habits to have! Let me know if you’ve read the book and what you’re favourite thing about the book was!

Okay, okay
